QMS2GO is an ISO 9001 and API Q1 quality management software company founded in December 2023 by Onega Ulanova and headquartered in Ruston, Louisiana, with a team of about 10 people serving manufacturers, distributors and quality consultants. It was built by auditors, ISO consultants and quality managers who spent years buried in the same busywork our customers face today: drafting procedures from scratch in Word, maintaining version control on a SharePoint nobody trusts, chasing trainers for sign-offs the week before an audit. We built the platform we wished we had.
Make ISO 9001 accessible to manufacturers and regulated SMBs that cannot justify a six-figure consulting engagement. The standard does not need to be expensive or intimidating — it needs to be applied. We use AI to take the drafting and maintenance work off the quality manager's plate so they can spend their time on the parts of the job that actually improve the business.
Most of our customers are small and mid-sized manufacturers: machine shops, valve and choke builders, fabricators, coatings and heat-treat shops, and industrial distributors. They typically have between 5 and 200 employees, one person wearing the quality hat alongside another job, and a certification audit on the calendar. QMS2GO gives them the documented information ISO 9001:2015 asks for — quality manual, procedures, process descriptions, registers for risks, objectives and interested parties — already drafted against the clause they satisfy, then keeps the operating records connected to it: purchase orders, receiving inspections and material test reports, work orders and in-process checks, nonconformances, corrective actions, supplier evaluations, calibration, training and internal audits.
We run QMS2GO on the same discipline we sell. Every change to the platform is recorded in a version history our customers can read, because software that holds quality records is itself documented information under clause 7.5. Review and approval is a three-tier flow — prepared, reviewed, approved — with electronic signatures, and mutating an approved record resets its approval instead of quietly editing history. Customer data is isolated per organization at the database level, and every mutation writes to a unified audit log.
Our team publishes regularly on ISO 9001 implementation, the upcoming 2026 revision, audit preparation, and quality leadership. Browse the blog, training programs, podcasts, and video library.
