ISO 9001 One-Year Certification Guarantee: Terms

The promise

If a qualifying client in the QMS2GO ISO 9001 certification program is not certified within 12 months of the program kickoff date, QMS2GO refunds the program fees described under "What is refunded."

Who qualifies

• Clients who sign up for the paid QMS2GO ISO 9001 certification program (not the free gap analysis, checklist, trial; software-only plans are excluded).
• Organization scope agreed in writing at kickoff (sites, headcount range, processes). No added company size limit beyond that agreed scope. Scope changes by the client restart the 12 months unless both sides agree otherwise in writing.
• Account in good standing: subscription active and paid for the full 12 months, no unpaid invoices.

Client conditions

• Completes the gap analysis and kickoff within 30 days of signing.
• Assigns a named internal owner who joins scheduled working sessions (no more than 2 missed sessions without rescheduling).
• Completes agreed tasks (procedures, records, training, internal audit, management review) by the dates in the project plan, or within 14 days of a revised date agreed in writing.
• Contracts with an accredited certification body and schedules the Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits within the plan timeline.
• Addresses audit nonconformities within the registrar's deadlines.

Exclusions

• Delays caused by the client, the client's registrar availability, or events outside either party's control (force majeure).
• Certification denied for reasons unrelated to the QMS (for example legal, safety or financial issues at the client).
• Standards other than ISO 9001 (such as AS9100, API Q1, ISO 13485), unless a separate written guarantee applies.
• Registrar fees, travel, third-party consulting, hardware and internal staff costs.
• Clients who cancel or downgrade before month 12.

How to claim

• Written request to QMS2GO within 30 days after month 12, with the registrar's audit reports or scheduling records.
• QMS2GO reviews the project plan and task log, responds within 15 business days, and pays approved refunds within 30 days by the original payment method.

What is refunded

• QMS2GO program fees paid for the 12-month certification program. Third-party and registrar costs are not refunded.
• Alternative: the client may instead choose to continue the program at no added QMS2GO fee until certified.
